Hiura graduated from the Musashino Academia Musicae and further studied at its postgraduate school. He completed the 54th Master Class of the Tokyo Nikikai Opera Theatre and was awarded the Excellence and Honorable prizes upon completion. He also studied at the 14th New National Theatre Opera Studio.
He has appeared in concerts including the graduation concert of the Musashino Academia Musicae, the 78th Yomiuri New Young Artists Concert, and the 87th Nikikai Theatre Opera Studio Concert.
His appearances in opera include roles as Ferrando in "Cosi fan tutte" in a Musashino Academia Musicae Opera Production, and as Guido Bardi in "Eine florentinische Tragödie," the Officer in "Cardillac," and Ein Tanzmeister in "Ariadne auf Naxos" in New National Theatre Opera Studio Productions.
His awards include the third prize in the 63rd Student Music Concours of Japan, Tokyo division and selection to the National competition.
His teachers include Kyoko Otsuka and Hidemi Kikuchi.
This is his first appearance at PMF.
