We are truly grateful to all of the many applicants for PMF 2026!
　
・A total of 1,466 auditions were submitted, from 70 countries and regions. This is the most auditions we have received since implementing the online system in 2015, and the number of nationalities is the same as in 2025, the highest in our audition history.
・Tuba, flute, conducting, trombone and oboe will be especially competitive.
・Regarding applicants' nationalities, the largest number of applications came from the United States, followed by Japan, then Korea.
　
Applicants will be notified of results via email by early March.
