An overview of PMF 2017 has been announced!
 
PMF 2017, the festival's 28th implementation, will take place for 25 days from Saturday, July 8 through Tuesday, August 1, and will feature a wealth of highly varied concerts, primarily in Sapporo but also in other cities including Tomakomai, Obihiro, Kawasaki, Tokyo, and more. Principal Conductor Jun Märkl will lead 2 programs on the first half of the festival and instruct the Conducting Academy, and Artistic Director Valery Gergiev will lead the final program in his third season as Artistic Director.
