Less than two months remain before the arrival of Artistic Director Valery Gergiev! Performances of Shostakovich 10 - a Gergiev specialty - are highly anticipated. Prior to this dream collaboration with the PMF Orchestra, footage of Gergiev's performance of this symphony with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra has been made available through the cooperation of Naxos Japan and Arthaus Musik. Enjoy a preview of this white-hot performance of the 2nd movement!
