Nicola Procaccini was born in Italy in 1995. He studied harpsichord at the Conservatorio di Musica G.B. Pergolesi of Fermo, and organ at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. Procaccini currently studies organ at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris. In 2017, Procaccini won second prize in the 5th Agati-Tronci International Organ Competition. The following year, he won first prize in the 5th International Buxtehude Competition in Lübeck. He has performed in many concerts including churches in Germany and Italy, and festivals of prestigious historical instruments from around the world.
In October 2021, he was appointed Resident Organist of Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara.
This is his second appearance at PMF, following his harpsichord and piano performances at the “PMF Classical LAB♪ ~Musical Journeys: Italy~” held in March 2022.
