After the beginning of his studies in Hungary, Laszló Kuti transferred to the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. Kuti is a winner of the Concertino Prague International Music Competition. After finishing his studies, Kuti became the principal clarinetist in the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Symphony Orchestra. Three years later he left the orchestra to work as a scholarship student at the Orchester-Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker. Kuti has been principal clarinetist of the Münchner Philharmoniker since 2009. He is also a regular guest with the Berliner Philharmoniker. He teaches in the Orchestra Academy of the Münchner Philharmoniker and is a guest tutor in the Academy of the Wiener Philharmoniker. This is his second appearance at PMF since 2013.
