I'm really looking forward to creating and enjoying music with musicians around the world, and valuable opportunities to play in my hometown Sapporo♪
Please type a short message to music fans and those who support PMF in Sapporo and throughout Japan.
I appreciate your warmful cheers.
I hope you enjoy PMF 2024♪
What are some things you like about Hokkaido?
Refreshing climate even in the summer, tasty food, and rich in nature... I love Hokkaido so much. Especially in Sapporo, Odori Park and Hokkaido University, which I attend, are my favorite places. Since trees change their colors with four distinct seasons, Hokkaido U. campus is beautiful throughout the year!
Also, Nakajima Park is a beautiful place. We can enjoy festivals, boats, and last but not least there is Kitara (concert hall)!
I really love the area from around Hokkaido U. to Susukino, where good Japanese style pubs and ramen restaurants are nearby!
What inspired you to start playing music? And do you have any memories of PMF?
I was so jealous of my big sister playing violin...finally got a chance to start playing around the time I turned 3!
And my mother took me to PMF concerts from my childhood. I also went to various classical concerts around that time. However, I always took a nap during the concert...the sound of applause woke me up many times lol
I still use a PMF handkerchief bought back in the day♪
What are your goals for PMF 2024?
At PMF, established for young musicians by Leonard Bernstein, I'm looking forward to playing music together with artists with various backgrounds from around the world.
Since it is a valuable opportunity to receive lessons from renowned artists, I will put my heart and soul into the music for a month at PMF to improve my performance skills. Also, I can't wait to meet and interact with Academy members!
