【After PMF 2023】What are some impressions of your time in Sapporo?

The city of Sapporo is beautiful, peaceful, with an environment that makes you feel so comfortable everywhere you go. I had the opportunity to visit the most important landmarks and discover its culinary and cultural life thanks to my Japanese colleague Keisuke. Kitara concert hall is the most amazing place I've ever played... Walking before rehearsals through Nakajima park was a unique and calm experience every day.

【After PMF 2023】What did you take away from your time at PMF?

I took with me the experience of playing next to Tamás Valenczei (Berlin Philharmonic) and Mark Inouye (San Francisco Symphony) in such challenging programs. Also my new friends from the academy, especially all members of the brass section. It was a pleasure to enjoy experiences in Sapporo and Tokyo with them! Finally I took with me the experience of meeting Japan and its culture, I will never forget.

【After PMF 2023】What advice would you give to people thinking of auditioning for PMF?

I would recommend people to apply for this amazing festival. It's a unique opportunity to play with great musicians from all over the world and meet professional players from Berlin Phil, Vienna and USA. You'll enjoy the experience in Japan!!
