【After PMF 2023】What are some impressions of your time in Sapporo?

PMF was the first music festival I attended in my musical life. And it was one of the most memorable times of my life being in a beautiful city and beautiful people. Everything that I experienced at PMF was truly perfect in various ways. I enjoyed a pleasant environment, had the opportunity to perform in splendid halls, and connected with friendly musicians and staff members from various locations during our time at PMF. The most remarkable aspect of the experience for me was the support provided to academy musicians adapting to the new environment. The staff members played a crucial role in guiding us through professional musical experiences and facilitating a swift and smooth immersion into new cultural aspects. It wouldn't have been possible to have a great time for me at PMF without their assistance.

【After PMF 2023】What did you take away from your time at PMF?

As mentioned earlier, I had the opportunity to meet all the musicians from worldwide. I realized how much I enjoy playing with other great musicians at PMF. Their professional attitude toward music and performance was impressive. All the musicians I met at PMF were truly experienced and focused on their music and work. Also, they were always well-prepared for the rehearsals and the concerts. Furthermore, despite diverse musical backgrounds, knowledge, ideas, and styles, the musicians had a remarkable ability to communicate their musical languages and collaboratively produce outstanding results. This experience highlighted that exceptional musicians not only pursue their dreams in distinctive ways but also share their aspirations, creating a beautiful synergy in the music we make together.

【After PMF 2023】What advice would you give to people thinking of auditioning for PMF?

For the audition, I would aim to convey a sense of professionalism and a genuine desire to communicate with other musicians.
