What are you looking forward to about PMF?

I am looking forward to traveling to Asia for the first time and experience everything PMF and Japan has to offer. I am excited to meet and make music with some great musicians from around the world!

Please type a short message to music fans and those who support PMF in Sapporo and throughout Japan.

I am very thankful for your support and love that makes this experience possible. I am excited to participate in PMF and I hope you will enjoy our music and concerts!

【After PMF 2023】What are some impressions of your time in Sapporo?

Sapporo is such an amazing place! It was the best trip that I’ve ever made, and I had so much fun in Sapporo! There is so much to do there and so much good food all around the city. It almost felt like Tokyo but less crowded which was really nice. Everything is very affordable and wonderful to explore! I definitely want to go back someday!

【After PMF 2022】What did you take away from your time at PMF?

PMF was such an enlightening experience to me. In many ways, it resparked my love for playing in orchestra and made me appreciate it so much more. Playing with such great musicians from around the world and working with some great professional musicians of the highest level made me grow so much as a musician. It was definitely the best orchestra I’ve ever played with and I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun making music. I’ve made so many great friends and memories that I will never forget!

【After PMF 2023】What advice would you give to people thinking of auditioning for PMF?

This is without a doubt, the best festival I’ve ever participated in and the best I could ever imagine go to. I would highly recommend auditioning for PMF. Even if you don’t get in once, I would still encourage you to keep trying because it is definitely worth it!
