What would you like to say to fans and supporters of PMF?

Huge thanks for supporting this beautiful festival!

What advice would you give to 2023 Academy members on how to prepare, and how to make the most of the experience musically?

Be able to listen, it is outstanding all the great sounds that come together to make this experience, you can learn so much by listening to the faculty and the talented academy members.

What places in Sapporo do you recommend they visit, and why?

There are so many great places! For nearby ones in the city area, check Ramen alley for food but for one of the best ramens, be sure to check SORA ramen. You can’t miss the arcade building for endless fun of arcade games with friends. For places outside the city, definitely consider an onsen (hot spring!) during your free time, it is very relaxing and feels good being surrounded by nature. Lastly, the Okurayama Stadium has amazing views of the whole city. Wherever you go, just make sure to enjoy every moment of it, Sapporo and the Hokkaido region are filled with so much beauty!

Tell us about your current activities, musical and otherwise. (as of April 2023)

Currently I am touring with the North American production of the musical Les Misérables!
