The first in a series of performances from PMF 2022 to be released on the PMF YouTube channel is the overture from Weber's last opera, from the PMF GALA Concert. Regarded as a masterpiece of the genre, its intricate string passages and a steadily bright tone conjure the opera’s fairyland. Led by Lahav Shani, the young musicians gave a performance marked by refreshing levity.
