As part of our continuing effort to more effectively meet the needs of the increasing number of listeners who attend PMF concerts from outside Japan, we will soon launch the PMF Online Box Office.
The Box Office system will be in English and will allow for advance payment by credit card before claiming tickets in person on the day of the concert. Soon you will be able to make reservations with a PC or smart-phone any time, and from anywhere in the world! (Residents of Japan will also have access to this system.)

PMF 2016 Domestic Ticket Sales Report

Advance ticket sales for members of PMF Friends began on Sunday, April 10. All of the S- and A-seats for the ever popular PMF GALA Concert reserved for Friends members have already sold out, with “My Seat” ticket sets selling out almost immediately. Tickets for the PMF BERLIN Concert have also now sold out.
Advance sales through PMF Online Service, an online reservation system for residents of Japan, will begin on Sunday, April 24 at 10:00. There are only a very few tickets reserved for these online domestic sales left for the PMF VIENNA String Quartet Concert on Monday, July 18 (Marine Day), but B- and C-seats for the GALA Concert are still available.

PMF Website Top Page Renewal

The top page of the PMF website has been redesigned with a fresh new look. Each time you visit the page, 1 of 3 videos (selected randomly) will playback automatically.
These new videos, which make use of technology called "motion graphics," were made by Mr. Katsuya Ishida, a Senior Assistant Professor at the Sapporo City University School of Design. Enjoy the excitement of PMF expressed in an entirely new aesthetic!

Also, a new page introducing the PMF Orchestra has been added, featuring the main attractions of PMF 2016: the PMF Orchestra Concerts and the Bernstein Legacy Concert.

Since its opening in 1986, Suntory Hall, the first dedicated concert hall in Tokyo, has steadily maintained its concept of "pursuing the world's most beautiful sound." Regarded highly all over the world by artists and fans alike, roughly 600,000 people attend 550 concerts at Suntory every year.
