The PMF Orchestra: Youthful Radiance,
Once in a Lifetime Resonance

The educational aspect of this international educational music festival begins with new encounters. The average age of this year's PMF Orchestra members is 23. The young musicians that make up the Orchestra Academy are selected every year through auditions. Each new encounter − with peers of similar ambition, conductors active on the world stage, a faculty of the highest level starting with members from the Wiener Philharmoniker and the Berliner Philharmoniker − brings about individual growth among Academy members, and the orchestra's collective sound is polished as a result. The PMF Orchestra, striving to perform at the highest possible level, overflows with youthful radiance; audiences this summer will be inspired anew by this once-in-a-lifetime resonance.

The PMF Orchestra: Youthful Radiance, Once in a Lifetime Resonance

This year's orchestra consists of young musicians from 23 countries and regions, and their coming together to create a sound rich with passion and hope is a realization of PMF's aim to contribute to world peace through music education. The “Pacific” of the festival's name refers not only to geography, but also to “peace.” The PMF Orchestra is never formed with the same members twice, making it truly unique each time. Experience the appeal of this singular orchestra live!
